It sounds like something Reagan would have said, but he ran against an incumbent and a former vice pres, so the "inexperience" argument didn't really apply (doh, so Ronnie would have said it anyway) |

Yes, it was, in fact, Ronald Reagan. The quote about youth and inexperience was from one of the 1984 debates against Walter Mondale. Last entry in the category: Fools say they learn from experience. I prefer to learn from others' experience. |
