Nope. I transplanted.

I transplanted as well. Fortunately I was at a young enough age where I was able to take root and thrive in my early years... but that didn't stop the wilting rot that developed from living in certain parts of the state as time went on.

Technically, no, practically, yes. I was born in Canada, but lived in California from the age of six months.

I'm a native Californian. I'm not an L.A. native, though. I was born and raised closer to central Cali, but moved to L.A. in 1997.

Actually born here and my parents too! Left for over 40 years; just back. Interesting experience to view LA as a "newcomer."
