Enjoying the atmosphere

To see my thoughts and views, check out my blog below this profile. NYU grad student, masters in psych, working as unpaid research assistant in labs. Finish next year. I might just want someone to hang out with and cuddle, but also who shares enough of my views so we are on the same page. I guess each cycle of thought asks myself how much is "enough". I am pro-choice, pro-gay, and tend to vote Democrat, but I also question both sides when I have time online to ask debaters certain questions.

I tend to read single books by particular authors. George Lakoff's Political Mind; George Lakoff's Whose Freedom; Christina Page's War on Sex; Jonathan Rauch's Gay Marriage: Good for Gays, Good for Straights, Good for America; Barbara Ehrenreich's Bright-Sided: How the Relentless Promotion of Positive Thinking Has Undermined America; Susan Forward's Toxic Parents; Nancy Polikoff's Beyond Straight and Gay Marriage; Stuart Taylor Jr's Until Proven Innocent: Political Correctness and the Shameful Injustices of the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case; Gloria Feldt's War on Choice; Parts of Michael Eric Dyson's Is Bill Cosby Right?; Steven Pinker's the Blank Slate; Matt Ridley's The Agile Gene; Jeffrey Schwartz's Mind and Brain; Lee Silver's Challenging Nature; Andy Clark's Natural Born Cyborgs; Joan Roughgarden's Evolution's Rainbow

Daybreakers; Gattaca; Most Marvel Comic Superhero movies; Good Luck Chuck; Coyote Ugly; Turtles Forever; Hancock; Avatar; Dark Knight; Batman Begins; often movies with actresses I'm attracted to (like Kristin Bell or Jessica Biel), but I won't necessarilly spend money to see those movies. It's a budget thing each month.
