Traveling to new places, photography, dancing, writing poetry and short stories, and trying to put together my family tree--which is turning out to be an exciting and rewarding experience. I also am a huge fan of Broadway musicals and try to see as many as I can.

I love The Beatles, The Yankees, The Giants, Mel Brooks and Monty Python and will do almost anything for a laugh. I love photography, travel, and dancing--I'm usually on the prowl for free dance classes around the city and have tried everything from salsa and hip hop to swing and country line-dancing. Zumba is another recent hobby, and yoga is slowly growing on me.

I am a journalist so I love to read books written by other journalists about the places they've been to and the things they've been through in pursuit of a great story. (Martha Gellhorn, Bill Bryson, Azadeh Moaveni, Nicholas D. Kristof.) Any book that makes you think about things in a different way or that tells an incredible story of survival is fascinating to me. Of course, I also love to be entertained, so I read books by Dan Brown, Stephen King, and J.K. Rowling as well.

Not too picky, just something fun and memorable that lets us be ourselves.

Seinfeld Monopoly. There's just something great about being able to use "The Puffy Shirt" to cream your opponents.
Apples to Apples is great, too. Do I even have to mention the Helen Keller card?

Basically any movie involving Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Gene Kelly, or Fred Astaire = FTW
I grew up listening to The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elvis & Elton John. I'm also a fan of country music (I lived in FL for 9 years...it grows on you) and Broadway musicals.
