Anything as long as I'm doing something engaging, it's more about who I'm with than what i'm doing - live music, culteral events, museums, board games, cooking, new interest classes and dinner parties.

I find it very difficult to sum myself up in 100 words or less. I am a series of seemingly contradicting qualities woven into one independent, intelligent, comedic package. I just really like to have fun, I believe a good debate doesn't equal a fight and I don't believe in losing the individual for the sake of the couple. I am 1 year out of a 19 year relationship and very much enjoying new experiences. I don't have a TV because I find the shows are too good right now and I would rather do than watch. That said, I'm not into the extended email dating thing - let's just meet at some corny first date thing and then see if we actual get on in person.....why is that such a weird concept these days?

I don't have favourite authors so much as favourite genres. I enjoy real life stories, especially hard ones told in lighter manner. A Monk Swimming by Malachy McCourt (brother wrote Angela's Ashes) is a great example. I love stories of brave women fighting circumstances I am fortunate not to understand.

Do you have any regrets? I have decisions that I wished I had made differently while I'm in the emotional aftermath but once enough time passes I see it all got me here. And here is a good place to be.

Anywhere we can talk and laugh with just enough distraction for there not to be any pressure to be "on".

One on one - the "g-rated" version - scrabble, cards. With another couple or in a group - get to know you games or anything that everyone can participate in and have fun.

The original Yours, Mine and Ours is a favourite I watch at least once a year. Any well animated Disney movie is fun. Most of Nicholas Cage's action movies are great. Music - I'm not a country fan, but there's some cross-over that's more pop than country that I enjoy. My radio station is FM 96 out of London, Ontario. But my collection includes some Flamenco instrumental and Abba - it all depends on my mood and the occasion.
