I seek a woman who is young at heart, a bit silly/goofy, funny, playful, independent, romantic, curious and intellectual. I know you are rolling on the floor laughing and asking: You serious? Please stop that- get off the floor (you may be my type), and continue reading.
I seek bliss - that joyous state of contentment. I hope to find a woman with whom I can share an exclusive and a passionate relationship - a long-term one at the intellectual, emotional and romantic levels.
I am non-religious but I am a live and let live person (some may even call it being a liberal) That means, I will respect your views on ALL matters, though I may not agree with you on some; such disagreement can actually be a great source for making that intellectual
connection thru' some great, vibrant, stimulating and pleasant conversations. I believe that such conversations are keys to a deep, meaningful and sustaining relationship.
I am very well read. I enjoy good prose, I just finished The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion-dealing with personal grief- well researched and very illuminating. I am reminded of Herman Hesse's, the German Nobel Laureate, comment that masterpieces are created from the depths of suffering. I am a pharmaceutical scientist ("drugs are us", you might say, my humor), professor, and patent lawyer. So, I also enjoyed her technical excursions, especially into medical terminology, drug use and surgical procedures.
I am in good health, exercise regularly (biking, treadmill), and do believe that appearances matter. I want to travel more with you, my WMD. By the way, one woman, yes a woman, rejected me out right, as too romantic. I felt as if, all my life, I have been misled about the female of our species and romance (smiling). I visited India and two of the emirates (Dubai and Ras Al-Khaimah) in December 09, and took a long (3500 mile) road trip to PEI/Nova Scotia, this past May. I am also open to more out-door stuff, except anything that is life threatening (e.g., sky diving), but need a guide. I leave Dolphin kissing to others, I am aiming for you - a more attractive terrestrial mammal (smiling).
I like westerns and action movies, but also enjoy a movie with good dialogue - especially those old British ones with lines like: You are denying me solitude without providing company (unhappy girl to perplexed boy). I enjoy music of all types- sound that interacts with my DNA. In this connection, I am a product of two cultures and thoughts- east (India) and west (mostly US). So, I resonate to a broader range of sounds and thoughts. I listen to golden oldies, and wish that I could dance really well- like those on TV- to the sounds of "There's a lot of shaking going on" by Jerry Lee Lewis.
To conclude, to need and be needed... to have thoughtful conversations... to sip good wine...to entangle and entwine mind and body... to be in love...is bliss. I hope to hear from you, though I made you suffer thru' my profile.
