Hmmm. A little about me, and us.
I'm exceedingly wholesome, yet not afraid of some serious play. To get a little untamed in the most pleasant ways.
I'm at home in the mountains and I'm in love with nature. Let's get our own fire wood - you chop, I’ll stack. Come get your feet wet on the morning grass. Let's hike all day to a great view on the ridge, or that amazing waterfall.
I imagine that you and I are each creative in our own ways. Maybe you’re a builder, or a potter, or you love your organic garden. I’ll get out the paints, and my oversized canvas. We both have a solid sense of natural aesthetics.
I admire you for being someone stable in your life, yet brave enough to follow your heart. To indulge in your dreams. You also intrigue me by being caring and gentle, yet robust in your laughter. Someone who knows that a little romance, just the right way, can touch the deepest places of the heart.
Together we are lively, adventurous, highly energetic and we crack up at the quirkiest things.
We come to know each other so well, that I am awake to your sensitivities, and love taking care of them. You, too, are happy attending to my inner needs.
And in the end, both together and each in our own selves, we have a sense of completion within, while we thrive on living our most heartfelt passions.
To share some specifics about some of the things I love: First and foremost, that cabin in the woods. Yours, mine, ours, any one will do, as long as it has a big fireplace and is under the evergreens. Beyond that, there's XC skiing at Tahoe Donner. C&S disc golf. A seasonal getaway to the ocean, or a trip to the city. Camping in the high country. Turbo Jam rocks! Futoshiki or Backgammon on a rainy weekend. An evening of Spades and Hearts with friends. A picnic in the park - but watch out...I put up a mean tickle fight. Sunrise at the North Rim Grand Canyon. The Narrows at Zion. Hiking that steep zig-zag trail at Bryce -- barefoot! Gazing out the back deck during a winter snow. Sleeping late on Sundays. I love my work, I love my son, and I love to ravish my beloved - that would be you - when least expected ~

The Good, The Bad, and The Nitty Gritty:
Because of the schedule that my son has with his dad, I am grounded here in these beautiful Sierras, at least for a few more years. Thus, I would be most compatible with those who have the freedom to live close by.
Latest reads: "Into the Wild" by John Krakaur, "The Last American Man" by Elizabeth Gilbert, "Desert Solitaire" by Edward Abbey, "Cave in the Snow" by Vicki Mackenzie. Geez, these make me sound like a real loner, don't they? "The Kin of Ata" by Dorothy Bryant is one of my all-time favorites too, and I'm currently reading "Still Life with Chickens" by Catherine Goldhammer (Definitely 'chick-lit', haha).

Okay smarty pants, show me what you've got. What are your three all-time favorite jokes?

Our first date? An easy hike to the nearby falls or along that trail to the river. On the boulders in the sunshine, let's kick off our shoes and get to know each other for a while. I'll bring some strawberries for us to share, and you bring something too - I always love a surprise.
