OK, so a friend of mine recently vetted my profile and declared "Wow, you sound like breath of fresh air - unfortunately, that air is laced with deadly, caustic vapors from the caldera of a live volcano." Taking her advice to heart, I am prefacing the following "self-description" with this caveat: I'm NOT caustic or cynical (or at least not very), I am, at heart, an optimist, and all I want, like many other folks, is to find a nice gal who is funny, kind, intelligent and, God help us all, "gets me." Really, I'm not a bitch, I'm not some dour "Debbie Downer" type just waiting to ruin your fun - I just take gleeful enjoyment from verbally eviscerating idiots and the willfully obtuse. But then again, who doesn't?
