As an artist, I love all things creative. I am a grounded in reality, have a vivid and active imagination. I am a free spirited, strong and compassionate woman. I know what I want, and what I don't want.
I am passionate about many things such the blues and music generally. I am also very much a horse nut, though unfortunately don't have any presently. This is my goal to have at least two. If not two, one a mare with a goat for her companion. We all need a good companion. This is who I am in search of, very good inter-dependent companionship, that has the capacity through time, to grow into something solid, real, and lasting.
I love to dance and humour is essential to me in living a healthy life. Having a good balance between mind, body and soul keeps me grounded.
I have an honest, open and kind character and deeply value this is others. Living in the country is where I love being and enjoy the serenity and solitude of nature and the earth. This is where I find Spirit and can listen to the still quiet voice.
I have many interests, besides those I've already mentioned, I garden, read, write, fly tye, fish, scuba, love to swim, Harleys, antique cars and antiques generally, flea markets and yard sales, CBC Radio, Oriental and Middle Eastern dance, and critters of all kinds, ( no lizards or cold blooded things)!
Honesty is an absolute must, and a willingness to meet eye to eye, face to face is vital in order to have a friendship based in reality, as opposed to virtual reality. I feel I must say this. I am not interested in an ongoing long distance, email MSN or over the phone relationships. That just doesn't work for me for long.
I am a full time student presently very involved in finishing my BFA degree so I don't have a huge amount of free time for anything really serious...just friendship right now which is the best place to start anyway, and see what happens after that!
I am a good friend of Bill and Lois W.
I have been a Youth Care Worker for many years and a Parent Counsellor/Foster parent for two years. I have long considered it my vocation.
I live life from the perspective of prayer, trust and perseverance.

Music I love...World music especially Middle Eastern, Blues, 50's &60's, Motown, R&B, some classical, Country Swing, Swamp, some Indie, just about anything with the exception of Opera though I liked Carmen and Camille.
