I'm a freelance non-fiction writer who is seeking relief from the United States for several months. I am teaching myself to program so that perhaps I can apply for a work visa after I return, allowing me to stay longer. I have a background in psychiatric and neuropsychological research, but I've decided to switch career paths from that of researcher to science writer.
