I have too much to do and too little time. I'm getting my M.Ed. in Math Special Ed. I got my B.S. in Psych and I think I may be in school till I'm dead. I'm the Pres of the local chapter of the International Education Honor Society. I used to help my mother (back in NY) with her business but I'm focusing on school right now. I read voraciously but seldom have time for books that aren't related to school work.
I love good quality beer (dad's a brewer), I don't really like wine but have found I like sweet whites and blushes. I enjoy almost any kind of food, but I don't like cheesecake. Or rather, I can't eat it, so I tell myself I don't like it so I don't mind as much. I love baking muffins, don't know why, and I'm still looking for the perfect recipe. My biggest wish is to someday have a clean organized space to work in with a system that makes sense to me. Wow, that's a really lame pipe dream isn't it? My life is getting more organized, slowly but surely I keep putting things back where they go after 3 big moves in as many years. I'm not really new to PA anymore, but I'm still trying to settle into the area and find people and places that feel comfortable.

I love Piers Anthony, he and Anne McCaffery were childhood faves. Also enjoy Ann Bishop, Orson Scott Card, Asimov, Laurel K. Hamilton, David Eddings, Dave Duncan, and Jacqueline Carey. Right now I'm reading a lot of YA math oriented books, like Madeline L'Engle, Katherine Neville, Mark Haddon, and Hans Magnus Enzensberber.

What the heck is a "locavore"?? They only eat Loca's?

The first part would have to be something active, where we don't have to sit across a table and just stare at each other. A little time to get comfortable is good. After that there can be face to face and lots of conversation.
As long as it isn't bowling... I'm not allowed to bowl anymore, Dr's orders. Funny story actually, ask me sometime.

It may sound silly, but I really like Mastermind. Card games are good, I'm not completely terrible at euchre. I grew up on board games so they hold a special place in my heart. Not so much for computer games and video games, not because I don't like them (I do) I just really really suck at them. I didn't learn to play video games till I was a Junior in college, and then I learned on Halo, so all those years every one else was practicing with mario kart? Yeah, I didn't have that. My joystick eye control is utter crap.

Alternative, Rock, Metal, anything with a good beat and harmony. I will listen to anything once.
My music library is between 80-100 gb... granted some of that is due to repeats.
