In the warmer months my free time is spent outdoors, usually hiking in the mountains. I love to travel and look forward to the day when I can take more time out of my schedule to explore the world. I have a season package to the symphony. I also love to cook. It is my go to stress reliever.

Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

While I don't consider myself a brainiac, I probably fit the profile. I'm currently working on a PhD in counseling psychology. I consider myself a pretty laid back person. I think a good conversation is very sexy, but I am not a debater. I'm looking for someone that I connect with on multiple levels, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. If you think you might be that person, drop me a line.

Douglas Adams is by far my favorite author. Other authors that I tend to go back to include Eckhart Tolle, Mary Roach, and Irvin Yalom. I've recently been rereading the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. It was a series I started reading way back when, and they have been a great source of evening escapism when it's time to get away from the dissertation. However, most of my favorite books happen to be ones that I picked up on a whim and not based on the author.
