I am a creative writer (poet,short fiction,essays) who has published in Australia,U.S., UK and Canada. I am also a student of philosophy who received top marks as a MA student at Syracuse University before leaving school due to a family situation. I still read and study it. I have an abiding interest in politics,culture,literature,history,media etc Other interests include travel,theater,independent and foreign films, cool ethnic resturants etc
I combine both intellect and poetic,compassionate sensibilties,analytic skills and a good heart that is tolerant of others. I am very hetro but not macho,successful but not ego-driven. My real age is about 25-30--very youthful in my outlook--despite my chronological age. And I have a very wicked sense of humor--not a boring bone in my body.
There are many so just to name a few:Beckett,Albee,Camus,Sinclair Lewis, Dostoevsky,Fitzgerald etc I have read numerous philosophers and enjoy Plato,Sartre,Whitehead and Russell among others. I read contemporary novels and enjoyed McCarthy's The Road recently. Also love the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop as well as Plath and Simic.
