My Profile My Match
Sailing, mountains, hiking, art galleries, history, travel in Europe and Caribbean, gardening, good cooking, picnics, water aerobics, biking, badminton ( play every Sat!), and so much more.
My interests are focused on Anti-Aging for career. For fun I love history and art. Love to go hiking on the weekends in the waterfalls of the mountains. with my German Shepherd Dog, named Margaret.
I am a water baby- love canoes, boating, and walks/runs on the beach or to picnic at the lake. My newest sport is snow shoeing.
I have lived in marvelous places: London, Scotland, France, Italy, Boston, Portland, Denver, Boulder, and Florida. I am the glamor girl, the out of doors girl, and the civilized girl, all in one. Different places allow you to shine in a variety of ways.
In the UK, I was the hostess. Italy was about the high life. Boulder was all about the mountains. Portland was an out doors adventure. Florida is sailing and seafood. Boston was the intellectual life. NYC was about achievement.
My home in Atlanta is a one hundred and twelve year old cottage on acreage with magnificent old oak trees. And yet is only moments away from civilized living of art museums, great restaurants, and interesting people in Buckhead .
What I like best about it, is that it is beautiful, peaceful and I can walk along the golf course at night and hear the crickets and smell the jasmine and the magnolias. I can sit out in my pj's and read in the morning and hear the birds.
I have loved every place that I have lived. The trick is to explore the parts of yourself, that a place brings out in you.
Achievement: Well you will have to hear those accomplishments from others.
I love creating new projects that are challenging and then watch as they launch into the world.
Last year my big project was called, "Sexy, Sassy, Smart for Life: Hormone Harmony" Talk about a learning curve as I produced a CD.
This year I am launching a NEW lip product that enhances, smoothes, heals with pure ingredients. Yes, another huge learning curve. It is challenging to formulate and launch new products. I am open to all suggestions of how we can do better. I love having my friends involved so that we all make money together while providing great products.
I love interacting with other bright people so that we collaborate and create something new, that benefits others.
Let me hear your interests and see how we may enhance one another.
Most of my friends are international and are only a phone call away or by video on gmail.
I love the zest of woman/man interactions the inspiration, the chemistry, the fun, and the enthusiasm that each brings out in the other.
I look forward to getting to know you.

I look forward to meeting you. Interesting people should know other interesting people.

I got into modeling as a way to pay for pre-med and grad school in order to be independent. Later it turned out to be a tremendous background for both business and life.

But you know what is great about it? I have freedom to think, create, and be responsible for an awesome outcome. I can listen to birds, cut roses, invite a child over for a camp out, play with a puppy,
watch movies as late as I want, work late into the early morning hours when there is a deadline, have a pot of tea in the garden, talk to a client half way around the world, all on my own terms in my own beautiful environment, or travel with a friend, without having to commute or answer to anyone else.
Whether it was studying pre-med, grad school, or modeling, my mission has always been the same: to be a remarkable person by using my gifts and talents to push myself to explore what is possible. I do not measure myself by other people's standards. We are each unique as a creation that will never be again, so why compare what is possible?
I get along well with both women and men. Most men are easy to talk to, and give honest, forthright answers, so it is easy to know what we are talking about and where we stand. My friendships last for decades through trust and understanding and let's face it, it takes a good sense of humor to maintain human relationships.
I feel that most American women simply do not give men a chance to be the hero that they want to be. ( Now don't go repeating that. Most of my clients are women.) Nevertheless, I see a truth that most men want to be a hero to a special lady in his life, but that the modern age simply does not understand his great need to be the hero for those he cares about.

If you are a man of integrity, love life, and are curious, interesting, and interested, then I look forward to connecting with you soon.
Let's each take a chance and see what is possible.

My goodness a long list. From early Greeks, to modern poetry, as well as writing some myself.
If I had more time, I would walk to my library shelves behind me and give you a long list. I read a book a day. In the morning I read something in my field, and then later in the day, take a break to read something for personal interests.
But I am dashing , making a water garden outside in the courtyard for summer night entertaining. Martinis with pomegranate and lemonade are my new summer favorite to serve. Mostly juice in a martini glass; It looks amazing and I find that guests appreciate the special touch of glam.
Writers: I am excited about the Shakespeare Festival. If you were here, I would invite you. Good fun. It is a delight to learn new phrases that can both draw blood as well as tickle. My picnics on the lawn before the performance are pretty memorable too! If you are in the neighborhood of the SE, then let's connect for the up-coming performances.
Finished Bleak House this winter. Now searching for my next big read for the summer. Probably will be The Pillars of the Earth. Usually in the summer I read from Celtic writers, for nature inspiration. This summer as I lie in my tent in the backyard, in the summer evenings, I am hoping to be lost in a great read until I drift off to sleep with the smells of magnolias and jasmine. Any suggestions?
In the mornings I read for an hour with a pot of tea, usually something scientific to keep up to date in my field.
I must go get dressed for the evening, but next time, I will make a list for you of my favourite writers. Many writers of our age, have been personal friends. Writing is an amazing experience because there are secret worlds that one creates that are expressed perhaps no where else in one's life.
One particular writer friend is now dead. I have been hounded to give radio interviews about him . I refuse. It is disrespectful to betray one's confidences. Let the work speak for itself.
Many writers such as Anais Nin and George Sand, saved my sanity in the college years. To meet such women through the pages, allowed me to soar in my imagination and my expectations of what is possible.
Others, such as Queen Victoria and Catherine the Great revealed the burdens of leadership as well as the hopes that lie in the heart of a ruler, through their journal writings.
I enjoy reading the writings of both Julius Caesar and Thomas Jefferson. If I had been alive in 1790, I would have been married to Thomas Jefferson. He is my kind of fellow- smart, charming, courteous, curious, inventive, a man of both study and action, who understood the value of creating and contributing. They are both men of vision, ideals, and hope. So yes, that is what I like to read: the inner workings of a great mind and how they overcame adversities.

What is LTR? My only guess is that it means Lasting True Romance. Fill me in to the lingo.

What do you feel is your best quality?
What do you think is your gift? Your life purpose?
What do you like to do for fun?
What would you change if you could change one thing about yourself?
Would you rather go back in time, or forward in time, if you could visit another era? And what would you like to experience?

Oh my... I am a romantic by nature and love to apply imagination to create great memories.
What is the most important factor is that we are connecting in a relaxed way, feeling safe enough to reveal our inner fun. What is the most fun, is to be in rapport and have a good outline for a date, then be flexible to make it special for both the man and the woman.
Mountains, Lake, Opera, Dinner, Walk, Boating, Swing set at the Playground, Museum, Theatre, Symphony, or just come over in my courtyard, listen to the waterfall and we cook dinner together and talk for hours...it is all good. Getting to know you and seeing into your soul is more important to me than the environment. That is probably why I know extraordinary people: I get to know the real person first, then all the other can follow.

I play badminton every Saturday evening. Love it!
Love to play volley ball in the pool too! Horseback riding on New Year's day in the mountains is a treat when the whole world is sleeping...
or to kayak into the unknown.

wide range both in live performances and recordings.
At work I listen to piano music or in The Studio, I play Baroque to create a soothing atmosphere . A good friend of mine has a band The Kate Morrissey Band, so I go to their performances frequently.
I just discovered Josiah Barlow.

It is an adventure! I feel the obligation to create and manifest one's talents to bring them to life and to give to others those talents. So it is an on-going process to create something new and wonderful.
