Vegetarian Food, Wine, Literature, Music, Films and Film Hisotry, Writing, Chess blah, blah, blah, blah oh, animal lover! Typical day: at computer writiing, fixing coffee and a small breakfast, 3 hrs. working, then take Dr. Watson for a walk, then return and do some more editing, then look for other interests and further ways to ensure some solid finances, then when the sun goes down, fill a bowl of tobacco and have of glass of wine. Expensive wines are often exquisite, but the trick is to find an inexpensive bottle of wine that is exquisite--for ex. Ravenswood Cabernet at 8.99 is terrific! Then again the Heitz Cellars Cab at 140 was pretty nice too.

A park. Blustery day. With my beagle, Drl Watson. It's nice to observe nature and see what it brings to mind in me or someone I'm with. Silence is nice also.

I like films by Hitchcock, Orson Welles, John Ford, Charles Chaplin, Ingmar Bergman, Francois Truffaut plus more...I'm a film historian. There are lots of films out their with big reputations that I think are shallow. I love Citizen Kane: I don't like Schindler's List. I loved About Schmidt: I didn't like The Dark Knight. I'm an eclectic musically. Play guitar and studied with a master guitarist, though my playing hardly excels. I have Bach, Prokofiev, I have Jethro Tull and Peter Gabriel. And Miles Davis.
