So this is the part where I talk about myself, likes, dislikes, and all those wonderful little idiosyncrasies that make me a (hopefully) interesting person.
I think I should start this by saying that I am a bit of a paradox. I am a pragmatic romantic, a liberal conservative (or conservative liberal), and an introverted people-person. I am all these things, as well as more, which makes for a rather quirky person, or so I've been told.
On to those things I like. Of course, you can see my interests, reading, movies, camping, and games, but those should probably by better defined. My favorite kind of books are fantasy, though I also like science fiction and occasionally a philosophy book, I pretty much enjoy any reading that stimulates the imagination and make me think. As for games, I will admit that I enjoy playing computer games, but I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing card games and the like. Animals are a part of my life. I worked for five years as a veterinary technician at a clinic, which will have a significant impact on a persons outlook. I also currently volunteer for a rescue organization, helping with their free clinic nights. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a pet, though I do plan on having one in the future, when I am in a position to properly care for one. Camping is something that I have done alot in the past, and enjoyed immensely, however it has fallen by the wayside in the absence of someone to go camping with. Not nearly as much fun alone. Finally, I really enjoy going to see movies. My favorites are horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and comedy.
I work as a laboratory technician. My days are spent helping to run various experiments and generally playing a small part in adding to the greater body of knowledge known as Science.
Now on to the parts of my description that aren't covered earlier in the profile, those ideosyncratic habits that seperate me from the next guy. I think the characteristic that I get told about the most seems to be that fact that I have an extended vocabulary. My guess is the fact that I read alot as a kid has something to do with it. In high school, I was the kid at the back of the bus with his nose buried in a book. I also tend to have a quirky sense of humor, laughing at odd things, and playing word games with things people aroung me have said. I also love Monty Python, so that right there should say something.
Well, that's about it other than a quick description of musical tastes. My music tends to run along the lines of rock and metal, but I'll listen to just about anything as long as I like it. Which is kind of a description of me in general. I like to try new things, you never know what you might find you enjoy.
