I'm a student at York University, just starting that long road down to a PhD. I'm also working on a novel and have ideas for a few more. I'm on this site because I'm looking for a decent person that I can enjoy hanging around with and see what happens from there. I'll [usually] try anything once.

Margaret Atwood, Douglas Adams, Wally Lamb, Augustin Burroughs, and Chuck Palahniuk to name a few.

How do you define the word "love"?

it would depend on who I'm going on the date with...I prefer dates where I can talk to the person and get to know something about them. Doing something entertaining or fun is a bonus, like going on a walk through High Park or Kensington Market, maybe checking out the AGO or the ROM, or even just sitting at some neat little cafe talking. maybe go to a movie...but that's an iffy, usually better reserved for later dates.

I'm getting a friend of mine to introduce me to the wonderful world of video games, I've yet to find favourites.

movies: v for vendetta, the dark knight, iron man, fight club, Serenity, breakfast at Tiffany's, American Beauty, Teeth, Quills, the Clerks series, the Ginger Snaps series, etc...I usually prefer action, horror and comedy movies along with movies based on graphic novels...I don't like Chick Flicks and am morally opposed to that "Twilight" shit.
Music: almost any kind of Rock...I'll give anything a listen but I usually don't like Rap, Hip Hop or Country Music. I've been getting into softer stuff lately like the Great Lake Swimmers...I like going to Metal shows more than other genres.
