Interested in and open minded about many topics, I enjoy learning about and experiencing life. I love to travel, either for a weekend or a month, explore the city--theatres, museums, neighborhoods, and relax in the country. I volunteered two years ago in Northeastern Hungary with Habitat for Humanity and this past summer in Greece with Earthwatch, International. I am a donor member of the National Bone Marrow Foundation. I believe in 'giving back'.... While I shun nobody's way of life and beliefs, and respectively believe that food consumption is nobody else's business but their own I am a proud vegetarian since 1976 and a vegan since 1993. If anything, I believe that my advocacy and dedication to this lifestyle is an indication of my convictions and determination in life.
