I'm in the financial services industry and I love to travel and read. That just about makes it clear that I have two very distinct sides...the technical and the artistic.
I have had one very long-term relationship, and a, looking for the real thing. I can appreciate that a little IM sex can be exciting now and again, and certainly better than nothing at all, but I am ready to move forward from that.
I'm honest, loyal, integral. I regularly downhill ski, do pilates, yoga and fusion classes, and am doing all I can to fight the ageing process! I have a wonderful relationship with my two teenage boys, and am an active member of my community. I am Chair of the Board with a local arts organization of significant note. It's very important to me that the arts in my community continues to thrive. We cannot have a healthy city nor raise well-rounded citizens without a vital arts scene.
I tend to call it like it is. I can say 'sorry' and 'I love you'. I want someone to share stories about my day with, and about my life. Tell me your story.....

How flexible are you? Do you think before you speak?

Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge, around the Promenade and then dinner....well I know not always realistic, so how about dinner at a nice restaurant?
Cafe and patios in the summer. Lots of laughing.

I rarely play games...usually when on vacation and at holiday times.

My love of music is diverse....everything from the Beatles to Bach and Ella Fitzgerald to Bruce Springsteen.

I'm a big classical and choral music enthusiast. I love to travel, especially to New York, London, Paris, Dublin, big cities. I want to go to Europe a lot more and see Vienna and Salzburg and Florence. My next holiday will be in the south of France. Do you want to come with me? (Summer 2011) I will go alone, but prefer to have a man to share it with.
I am looking to find my Renaissance man! I'm on this site, like most of you, because I have enough of an ego to think I belong amongst you, the brainiacs, and because I want to find a wonderful man to share my life with, regardless of geography. A man who will inspire me, yet understand that I am an independent thinker. A man who will appreciate that I too have a career and a family and won't need you to fill every part of my life. I asked a male friend do describe me for my on-line dating foray, and he had this to say: "vivacious, intelligent, sexy, confident; that I give a lot of myself to my work, my community and my family". "You are as close to the ideal woman as they get."
My career is not my life. I have learned to balance priorities, and am getting much better at saying no, particularly with volunteer boards...lol. My passion is to travel and read, with a little dabbling in writing. I have two teenage boys and a cordial relationship with my former spouse. The boys want me to find someone who is "fun" and drives a nice car! (I can't disagree with them so far.)
