happy living in the moment

So I guess this is where I tell you my life story and what makes me unique. Well, I'm an educated guy so I like good, intelligent conversation and some geeky stuff like science and classical music but I love my sports and my rock n' roll just as much. Formal education is fine but what's more important is what you learn from life, and from yourself as you deal with it.

I'm pretty laid-back and nothing upsets me all that much, and it takes a lot to get me angry. I'm happy with my own company and I love just being outside on a nice day and reading a good book. However, I'm also a people-person and I love to learn about people and find out what makes them tick. I'm not boisterous but I love to talk and I am completely open with my feelings and thoughts. I'm a deep person but I can be completely silly, and love going out for a drink and having a good time. I'm thoughtful and sometimes quiet, but I have my passions and am very affectionate and romantic.

I'm a perceptive person and I have lived enough to understand the things that people have gone through. I know, I should have been a counselor, but don't worry, I'm not just a thinker. I play sports and am an active person, though I also love my quiet times. For me it's all about balance and I find that by living in the moment and making the best of the experiences that come my way. By the way, I don't have kids (though I love them) so I'm pretty flexible and ready for whatever opportunities present themselves.

Is there anyone out there who is truly compatible?

Lots of conversation and lots of tea! I don't care much for small talk but it has its place. If you don't mind getting into deeper subjects then we'll have a great time!

I know it's a sport but tennis is tops. I'm not a big games person and though I'm good with words I'm terrible at Scrabble. Go figure!

Movies don't do much for me but music, that's another story. Again it's a varied list. Classical, classic rock, folk, electronica, some pop... mostly anything but rap and country.

My main interest is being happy but since that's pretty abstract I'll say that I love good conversation, sharing feelings, learning new things, experiencing life, helping people, writing music, cats, tennis and a whole bunch of other stuff. Ask and I'll tell you... or even better, get to know me! :)
