A quiet coffee shop. A good place to talk then a walk in the park or a museum. A persons reaction to art can say more than words.

Not into electronic or board games. I like to do things for real. I like to ride my Mtn. Bike, Motorcycles, Sail, Hike , Camp, Solve problems in my real projects that range from restoring a 1911 Grand Prix Car to designing and building my own turbojet. and playing Bass and Guitar.

This will cover a lot of ground. As I said above I don't read fiction how ever I love going to the theatre and movies I like anything on stage or projected. Music the only thing I cant take is Rap. Classical to punk anything goes!!!

My professional interest is in 18th and 19th century machines. I specialize in the conservation , restoration and interpretation of large machines such as steam engines and mill sites. This often includes operating them for research and demonstration. In many cases it is like being a test pilot. Often generations have passed since these machines have been used. Research in hand I most of the time it is a leap of faith the first time I set a machine in motion.
I am the Brainy Gear Head. I have a machine shop to support my toy habit. I like things that go fast by land ,air or sea powered by wind external or internal combustion.
Must like animals and the outdoors!!!!
