I'm currently living and working in Thunder Bay but toy with the idea of moving back to UK (where I'm from originally).
I work in the criminal justice field, dispensing Get Out of Jail Free cards. Criminology-related topics are definitely my main interests (specifically, penology and justice policy) but other interests include architectural history, social history and psych.. As for what I consider fun, I'd say reading, listening to choral music, cooking and kayaking. I've only recently taken up the latter but absolutely love it.
I'd describe myself as strong-willed and quite independent. What I'd love in a partner is someone who is also quite independent, has an inquiring mind and an unhinged sense of humour. It's also crucial that it be someone who is ok with the fact that I'm not a slave to fashion and routinely avoid make-up. My preferences are for the natural and earthy (whether we're talking food, fashion, cleaning products, decor, etc..) rather than the synthetic.
I'm also Christian. Indeed, it's possible to be of faith AND have several brain cells to rub together. ...or perhaps you should be the arbiter on that matter!
